A Mentor is a person who is willing to guide you through in achieving your professional goals. Mentor makes sure that you spend your future as an accomplished person. Mentors are the one who are motivated by growth, people with some mission in life, some tasks to fulfil. They are concerned with mankind in general and feel as their responsibility, duty or obligation to be of service and support to people. A person who has reached to the pinnacle of his needs and in love with journey and not just the destination. An advisor who has realized his maximum potential, creativity and possibilities with a keen desire to transform the society by imparting knowledge and experience they have attained over the years/decades.

Council for Start-up India aims to provide all its Start-up Founders/ Entrepreneurs to access Industry Leader organisations, through its umbrella, that will voluntarily offer mentor services to Start-up ventures and those interested in starting a business.

A one-to-one relationship over a period of time between a less experienced person (mentee) and an established professional (mentor), which provides consistent support, guidance and practical help
A process by which an experienced professional shares their personal skills, knowledge and experience with another person
A means of enabling a less experienced person to gain the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to perform at a higher level
An opportunity for a less experienced person to gain access to impartial, non-judgmental guidance and support
A process of working together to achieve predetermined goals and objectives
A two-way process through which both parties derive satisfaction from the progress, and success is attained through working together.
