The main objectives of
Council
is of two fold, the first is via function of ADVISORY and the second is through the scope of DIRECTIVES. These may be very well defined via below explained sub-objectives:
- To help the
new start-ups
of the country through arranging funds from Govt. Agencies, private players and through venture capitalists.
- To coordinate resources for
start-ups
to set-up in particular field.
- To serve as knowledge base for
start-ups
to set-up in particular field.
- To help marketing and sell their goods and services.
- To serve as grievance unit for
start-ups
.
- To serve as coordinating agency between govt. agencies, private players and the start-ups.
- To promote
start-up
literacy, cultural and other social activities of Awareness programs, adult education classes, lectures, essay competitions, exhibitions, symposium, cultural programs, press conference, summits and seminars.
- To accept donations, grants, presents and other offerings (in the shape of movable or immovable properties) and the same shall be utilized by the promotion of aims and objects of the society.
- To receive financial assistance (in the shape of loan or otherwise) from government, non-government organizations, banks or any other legal entity or individual on reasonable terms and conditions.
- To provide social-economic help/assistance to poor and needy people.
- To engage, employ or hire appropriate staff, workers, legal or other professionals, attorneys, managers and agents for the work and furtherance of the aims and objectives of the society and to pay their wages, salaries, stipends or fees.
- Promote collective action through community based organization for economic and social purposes for
start-ups.
- To follow the ideology of great men and National Leaders who scarified their lives for the causes of depressed, deprived, SC & ST, Minorities and other community/ backward classes and for other needy people.
- To identify and strengthen industrial role in the economic development.
- To act as initiator in bringing Indian Industry Growth.
- To provide up to date information and data to the industry and government.
- To work towards globalisation of Indian Industry and serve as platform for integration of industries with the world economy.
- To create awareness and support industry efforts as quality environment, energy management and consumer protection.
- To promote healthy interface between business community and government.
- To work for de-regulation of economy by coordinating with government on administrative controls.
- To assist members in export promotion, modernization and pollution controllers etc.
- To assist govt. in achieving socio-economic goals of removing poverty and increasing employment opportunity.
- To promote research in all fields & sectors to achieve import substitution and fullest possible utilization of national resources.
- Empowerment of men and women through vocational trainings and
skill development.
- To sensitize and promote need for education amongst backward section of the society.
- Scouting, promoting and supporting worthy candidates out of the presently burgeoning new startup sector of India. Candidature, however, would be based on merit.
Council
will aim to build a platform wherein govt. officials, private & public investors, new startups and Gurus can collaborate and help expedite and fine-tune not just the process but also the product being proposed.
- Council will aim to strengthen the currently flawed IPR laws in India.
- Council will try to procure legal help to all the startups in need of securing their IP.
- Actively seek out areas of opportunity wherein the council will help foster a startup conducive environment to realize the potential of the underlying local skill and human resource.
- Council will indulge heavily in educating the youth of today and future in hopes of building a more informed, effective and efficient future generation which , needless to say, is the country’s backbone.
- To coordinate resources for start-up to set-up in particular field.
- The council will work on strengthening the start-up ecosystem in India.
- The council will closely work with various stakeholders in the start-up ecosystem, start-ups investors, mentors, industry, academia, government etc.
- The council will represent the start-ups voice and will act as a lobby for putting forward the concerns and challenges faced by start-ups to the relevant authorities.
- It will also serve as a grievance unit for start-up for their concerns. Council will work an advisory and mentoring body to provide legal help to all the start-ups on various subjects related to investments, taxation, IP laws etc.
- The
council
will create local chapters to reach out to the start-ups across various cities and geographies.
- The
council
will also set sectorial councils for various industries and technology areas to have enough focus on each of the respective areas.
- Actively seek out areas of opportunity wherein the council will help foster a start-up conducive environment to realize the potential of the underlying local skill and human resource.
- The
council
will engage with the industry and bigger corporates to define the road map for the start-ups in their respective industries and the way forward.
- The
council
will have a membership fee model to meet its expenses and have a sustainable growth in future.
- The
council
will also act as advisory to the government and various agencies for various projects related to start-ups.
- The
council
will work with central and state government and various agencies for various projects related to start-ups.
- The council will work with central and state government, defence, railways, public sector unit, public-private set-ups, NGOs, consultants and other relevant organizations on various consulting assignments.
