Born on 4th July 1955 in vellore, Tamil Nadu. His father was employed in Clerical Grade Civil Aviation Department. And his mother was a school teacher in Govt.. aided middle school.
He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Also was Country Representative on MAG of UN-IGF & GAC of ICANN in the stated period.
Administrator – Department of Telecommunications (USOF) Nov 2011 – July 2014
As Administrator USOF during the above mentioned period, ensured completion of a few ongoing projects and initiated several new projects; the objective being , to provide Telecom Infrastructure in rural & remote areas of the country. Was appointed as the First CMD of BBNL(Bharat Broadband Network Ltd),an SPV created to implement the NOFN(National Optical Fiber Network ) project.

Am Consultant to GiZ on a Technical Assistance project -Development of a Management plan on Sustainable practices in Industrial parks in Uttarakhand (short term 180 days w.e.f. 8/6/2018).
Am Senior Advisor-cum-Mission Director (Uttarakhand) for UNCTAD-Empretec Foundation Programme for India (short-term 1 year w.e.f. 1/7/2018). [Area: Advocacy & Training for Entrepreneurship Development].
Am Senior Advisor (Institutional Affairs)-UPES (University of Petroleum & Energy Studies) w.e.f. Nov 2016.
